Come here to express your views on homework in schools.
Personally I believe that school children are given too much homework, they spend all day slaving away in classrooms five days a week and then their limited free time is full of more boring work. Students need time to enjoy themselves, relax and wind down(and post on gaming websites hundreds of times) . They are already stuck in dreary classrooms for the best part of the day. Are we being punished? Did we lose a war?
We are encouraged to exercise etc. out of school, but they are not exactly encouraging this in practice are they???
Our rights and free time are being oppressed. Apparently homework is to consolidate learning, well we have what 6 hours to do that! angry

Just my views, feel free to discuss and debate...

Well, the main reason for homework is so that the school and especially your teachers, know that you can actually do the work set.

It's just a way of them to know if you can work and if you just copy answers in class or don't pay attention.

personaly i think homework is piontless i never do it and i still havent done a english corse work peace for last week and before the summer holidays started. and when we do do homework we just go on google (better than ask.com) and copy and paste. and to who eva spawn is teachers dont care bout how how wel we do they just r there to tourcher uswith owrk and more work. p.s longbow is so said...
